Gatewood Gallery, 2026
As the Gatewood gallery intern, there is a need to adapt for each gallery opening that comes up. With these three different assignments, it was important that each design matched each body of work.
In the BFA exhibition, I was given complete creative control and I just had to make sure the information was correct. I landed on the theme "The Sky's the Limit" and worked towards that visual theme accordingly. This advert was created to inspire graduating students about the limitless possibilities.
In the New Frequencies showcase, I was given the instruction that there needed to be a representation of growth. Because there were 6 artists being spotlighted, I decided to go on a more abstract path and created plant-like vector images. This also alluded to the growth of the department as a whole.
Steven M. Cozart's exhibition, I got to speak a lot with the artist about his work, and I was really focused on the color palette. I had assets the artist gave that were the focal point of the advert. There was also a reoccurring symbol which I included. I created a vector image of the shape to add visual appeal while still keeping the work center stage.

The Artery, 2026
This was a project by Rachele Riley. I was assigned to create a brand guide and mock-ups for a local business. The Artery is a custom frame shop in Greensboro, NC. I pulled inspiration from the word artery, introducing new color palettes based on the heart and cells. I followed that story throughout while also making subtle allusions to picture frames. This branding had a need to feel intimate and bright.
Veteran Services, 2024
I worked to help veterans get assistance for their benefits, but I started creating promotional materials for the office. Different events called for different circumstances and I had to create design systems that I could pull from at a later date. There was also a need to research and follow ADA compliance, which allowed me to gain more experience with those rules.
